The Taminmin Community Library serves both the public of the Litchfield Shire and Taminmin High School and is situated in the High School grounds, on Challoner Circuit, Humpty Doo.

Litchfield Collection

The Litchfield Collection is a local history collection from within and around the Litchfield Shire. Areas covered include Humpty Doo, Noonamah, Bees Creek, Shoal Bay, Gunn Point, Manton Dam, Darwin River Dam, Virginia and many others.

The Litchfield Collection is located at the Taminmin Community Library.

Smile-A-Mile Fun Bus & Toy Library

This association lends a range of toys and equipment for young children in the shire. There is an annual membership fee.
